In order to define positions of threaded or punched holes, threaded or welded bolts
as well as corners and edges on sheet metal, Witte Bleckede offers Fixinspect, a range of measuring accessories. Accurate position data is gathered simply by touching various types of aluminium hemispheres max. 5 times (compared to several dozen times when using conventional methods), thereby considerably speeding up measuring processes.
At Control 2006 in Sinsheim Witte will be showing new extensions to this range for optical measuring.

Fixinspect PG
Fixinspect LT comprises of special adapters, which act as a base for ball-shaped reflectors used for laser tracking. Magnetic force is used to hold the reflector in its „nest“ as well as holding the LT adapters themselves to sheetmetal parts. An alternative is screwing them onto Witte Alufix profiles.
Photogrammetry is becoming more and more important/popular for contact-free reconstruction of spacial positions of objects. Fixinspect PG accessories comprise of adapters, equipped with gauge marks. These adapters are also held magnetically on sheetmetal parts.
These recent developments are comparable accessories have not previously been available on the market. Witte’s Fixinspect adapters considerably simplify working with optical measuring systems.
