During development of new car models all body parts must constantly undergo comprehensive quality checks, however data collected in this way says nothing about how adjacent parts fit in relation to one another.

One of the checking processes therefore has to involve examining single parts assembled together on some kind of large structure which enables the user to collect reliable information and compare nominal data of parts with actual data. Depending on the task required different versions of Meisterbocks are used for checking all outer or inner parts.
Meisterbocks enable examination of design, function, gaps, flushness and visual assessment of sheet metal in connection with hang-on parts.

Witte Far East, Asian subsidiary of Witte Bleckede, manufactured a Meisterbock for a Chinese car manufacturer. It is used to check fitting accuracy of all car outer sheet metal parts as well as hang-on parts of their latest model.
At the same time the sequence of joining sheet metal parts as they are manufactured can be simulated.
